"Alien vs. Predator 2" gets directors

IGN FilmForce (http://filmforce.ign.com) reports that special effects masters Greg and Colin Strause are in the running to direct "Alien vs. Predator 2" for 20th Century Fox.

The project marks the feature film debut for the brothers.

In addition to their award-winning work as music video and commercial directors, the Brothers Strause also run Hydraulx, which has provided special effects work for such Fox films as "X-Men: The Last Stand," "Fantastic Four" and "The Day After Tomorrow."
