Ashton Kutcher is "The Engineer"

Variety reports that Ashton Kutcher will play the title role in "The Engineer" for 20th Century Fox. Kutcher's producing partner, Jason Goldberg, will produce the project. Mike Finch is penning the screenplay.

The thriller will tell of an American engineer's life during the 24 hours after he is labeled a terrorist in Tokyo.
