Universal Pictures will team up with Dark Horse Comics for "The Secret," a film adaptation of the graphic novel by Mike Richardson. Scott Milam will adapt the book for the big screen.

Illustrated by Jason Shawn Alexander, the book tells of a group of high school students that become involved in a prank gone horribly wrong.

Mike Richardson will produce "The Secret" with Scott Stuber.
