20th Century Fox is looking to make a sequel to "Hitman," the film adaptation of the bestselling videogame franchise.

Variety reports that Kyle Ward will pen the screenplay. The story will have Agent 47 (played by Timothy Olyphant in the first film) at a low point in his life must build himself back up psychologically and physically to reclaim his mantle. The script will reportedly incorporate elements from the fifth "Hitman" game, scheduled for release in 2010.

Adrian Askarieh will be producing with Chuck Gordon, with Daniel Alter executive producer.
