The trades have been reporting today that Bryce Dallas Howard will replace Rachelle Lefevre in "The Twilight Saga: Eclipse." Lefevre played the character of Victoria in "Twilight" and the forthcoming sequel, "The Twilight Saga: New Moon."

Lefevre has cited "scheduling conflicts" for the reasoning behind her departure.

David Slade will be directing "Eclipse" early next year for a holiday 2010 release. Kristen Stewart, Robert Pattinson and other cast members will be back.
